School Supplies and Our Classroom

I'm sure you are starting to get excited for the start of school! Here are the supplies you should bring to school with you on the first day:

1 pencil box
1 pack of crayons
1 pack of markers
1 pack of colored pencils
12 pencils (please bring them to school sharpened)
1 pair of scissors
1 binder, 1 inch with inside pockets
1 pack of dividers for the binder (5 tabs)
2 highlighters – different colors
1 homework folder

I've been working on getting our classroom in shape for the school year. We still need to add some desks and chairs, but it is almost ready for the first day!

Special guest

Today we had a special guest - Frida - visit the fourth grade. We have been reading the story, "The Right Dog for the Job", about service dogs. Frida is Mr. & Mrs. DW's dog, but she is also a facility dog. She works at Kessler Rehabilitation center with patients who have had brain injuries. We were lucky to have her visit us and learn about her job.
