Thanksgiving Roll-a-Story Partner Share

Thanksgiving Roll a Story

The students started a "Thanksgiving Roll a Story" today. They started off by rolling a die to come up with 4 numbers. The numbers were used to find out their character, setting, and the conflict/plot. They started their pre-writing today, and some even started their story. Tomorrow, we will finish writing the story, complete a final draft with a picture, and share it with their classmates!

Dictionary Presentation

Today the Washington Rotary Club presented our 3rd and 4th graders with dictionaries! The dictionary should be kept at home and will be a useful resource for your child.

Buffalo Bill Center of the West virtual field trip

We joined Mrs. Solomon's class yesterday for a virtual field trip to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.
Although our connection wasn't that great, we learned a lot about the Plains Indians and were able to compare them with the Lenape Indians we are studying in Social Studies.
