Multiplying the 'traditional' method
Today we worked on multiplying multi-digit numbers with the "traditional method". This is the way most parents learned how to multiply.

Snow Days
Due to the snow days we had on Thursday and Friday, we will have the Reading & Vocab test on Monday (after we review the story of the week). The spelling test will be on Tuesday.

Egg Drop Experiment
Students worked as biomechanical engineers to design a box to keep their egg safe for the Egg Drop Experiment.

Test Toy Cars
The students used rubber bands to generate different amounts of energy. They started by predicting which number of rubber bands would make the car move the fastest, second fastest, and slowest. They tested their predictions. We found that using 3 rubber bands with the toy car made it move the fastest.
